Conference on Crimes Against Women

Thank you for applying for a scholarship to attend the 13th Annual Conference on Crimes Against Women. 

Please read each option carefully, and select the opportunity that is the best fit for you/your group. 

Note- Team and Matching scholarship applications will not be processed until individual applications for each person have been received. Incomplete applications or applications that do not meet the requirements will not be accepted. 


  • *CLOSED - NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS* Option 1: Faith and Liberty Matching Scholarship - your department/agency/county/etc. provides the funds for an attendee (hotel, travel, and registration), and CCAW will match the funding for a paid attendee - including hotel, travel (limit $300.00) and registration. Limit 1 per agency. 

  • *CLOSED - NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS* Option 2: (NON-TEXAS) Multidisciplinary Team of 2 Scholarship - 2 individuals with different roles who work together collaboratively. (example: victim advocate and detective) This scholarship covers travel (up to $300.00/ person), hotel, and registration for both individuals. This scholarship is open to applicants from outside the state of Texas. 

 

  • Option 3: Texas Multidisciplinary Team of 2 Scholarship (Texas Governor's Office Scholarship) - This scholarship covers conference registration costs, travel, and hotel for teams of 2 individuals with different roles (example: victim advocate and detective) who work together in rural or underserved communities in Texas- for example: an advocate and a prosecutor or an advocate and a detective. Each team of 2 must have 1 advocate. To find out if your county qualifies, please see the list at the bottom of these guidelines. To be eligible for this grant, your office may not be the recipient of any funding from the State of Texas Crime Justice Division.

 

  • *CLOSED - NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS* Option 4: Rural Texas Prosecutor Scholarship - This scholarship covers conference registration and hotel for prosecutors from rural or underserved communities within the State of Texas. To find out if your county qualifies, please reference the list at the bottom of these guidelines. This scholarship does not cover costs such as travel, food, etc.
